HOW TO DRAW A CUTE MUSHROOM DRAWING STEP-BY-STEP

Both children and adults can follow these simple steps with a fun drawing guide! I recommend doing this with a pencil as you can erase mistakes. But when you’re done, you can always draw over your sketch with an ink pen or marker to define it even more. Have fun designing your shapes!

STEPS TO DRAW MUSHROOMS

Step 1: Let’s draw the mushroom’s hat. Start by drawing a simple shape that resembles a bell. As you can see, it is tilted to the side. Leave space at the base for the stem.

Step 2: Next we can add some more detail to the lid. Draw a line from the bottom of a shoe to the bottom of the mushroom cap. This will be the inner edge.

Step 3: Now let’s create the stem as shown above. It is bent to the side and if you look closely you can see that the edge at the top of the stem is a little wavy. The base of the stem is somewhat square.

Step 4: I think you can see why the trunk was wavy now. This will create some definition so you can add the lines (or gills) to the bottom of the mushroom cap. Extend the lines to the edge

Step 5: Next, we outline the points on the lid. Make some random circles on the lid. You want to vary the size and shape. Note that the circles on the edge are only partial circles. Also, add a partial line along the brim of the cap to define it even more. Now you have a very cute, simple cartoon mushroom drawing. You can stop here if you want, or add more information below.

STEP 6: Drawing Cute Mushroom Step 6: If you want, you can add even more detail to your mushroom by placing a small baby mushroom next to it and drawing in some edges of grass similar you get above.

Conclusion Above

Now all you have to do is color your cute sponge! Grab your markers, Crayola crayons, oil pastels colored pencils, or whatever you have on hand and complete your masterpiece! I colored this cutie with a light shade of red and white polka dots, but you can be creative and use whatever colors you like! You can decide!
